Because sometimes I have to say it even though no one may be listening.

Some things to know about me:
I am owned by a French Bulldog, Miss Izzie, check out her blog frenchiesrule.tumblr.com.
I like to spend my time reading, travelling, swimming and going to the cinema.

French is my first language and I adore French and British stuff.

I have been around this world long enough to know life has ups and downs. Yesterday was one of those up days, I felt really good about myself and how things had been turning out lately and how I survived all the stress of moving.
But today I certainly feel on the down; lots of little things adding up to just not having one of those “this is a good day”.
But I am going to keep riding this coaster as I know there are better days ahead and I want to fight the good fight.

You must be willing to let go of the life you have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for you.

The fact that this could happen to any of us is very exciting - Life can change on a dime and that is why we all need to keep chugging through the dark days.

I presided over the worst deal of the century.

Former Time Warner CEO JERRY LEVIN, who sold his company to America Online for $164 billion… in AOL stock, way back in the crazy days of the late 20th century.

Understatement.

Yep, I lost my job in that deal.  I left NYC to move to Atlanta, GA to work for Time Warner and I was there for the parties and pats on the back about the new company.  Then 3 weeks later it was more cuts and goodbye.

I am certainly not 30 anymore but I did feel like this when I turned 30.  I have had incredible adventures and have been to 6 out of 7 continents.  I still feel there is so much I have not done nor seen yet, but compared to most people in the world I have been incredibly blessed and maybe I sacrificed certain things for that, but I can’t imagine it any other way.
