This is Blücher, the dog that makes sure everything runs smoothly at Giraffe Manor in Kenya. She is not even a year old and I am still waiting for the explanation of why SHE is named for a Prussian General who fought Napoleon at Waterloo. But she thinks she is a warthog and while she will chase the adult warthogs away from the front door, she is scared of the baby warthogs and they end up chasing her away.
For a rescue in Nairobi she has a very nice life and as the manager said she was a present for his wife’s 30th birthday and she was free. But still why did you name her after a male general?
And yes everywhere I go I bond with all the dogs!
