I love when I see articles about the intricacies of DVD rights, as it can be difficult to explain to people what I do for a living. While we rarely encounter licensing snags of this magnitude, the problem of bringing a show like Batman to DVD gives great insight to the industry. Read this and think of it the next time you wonder “Why isn’t such-and-such on DVD?”
